KL Revisit - After 23 years

 This is how KL Skyline looks from KLIA Express

KL Sentral - as seen from Le Meridien hotel. 2 decades back, this was empty space!

Jalan Tun Sambanthan - Main road in BrickFields. Its a one-way now. 

Pos Laju  is still there.

Palm Courts - a stay of almost 2 years.

The building is still the same. Surrounding is changed, but palm court is exactly the same.

I was told that Thursday Pasar Malan still continues around Palm Courts

From Palm Courts, towards Sampoorna, there is a small lane. 

On the left side of that road, a HUGE apartment is built now. "Sentral suits".

"Sri Kota" Shop- no more!

Now there is a Saree shop!

Shop didn't survive Covid Lockdown 😞

The setup that provided us Food at Late Midnight - Sampoorna Currey House - Not there now. 

However, Sri Paandy - is still there !!!

Food has become really costly now.

3 RM = 30 Rs Unlimited Sapad then, now it costs 16 RM = 320 Rs !!!

Area around this place is now called "Little India" 😃

NOW, Let's visit our Karmabhumi.

The place where we spent uncountable number of hours, days, months, years to Stabilize Finware and PAB 

 WISMA SPK

However, the name is changed now

It is "Menara MBf"

There was PAB - Central branch - Branch code 2 - LO1 (as per Shirali's records ) here at the ground floor

And This is Karmabhumi no 2

The building has not changed at all !!!

There is a McD joint now at ground floor.

I wish it was there in 1999-00 !!!

 

The tour would have been incomplete without meeting our old friend - Mr Naan Paratha aka "Asim Gandhi" 

Lastly, कुआला लंपूर चे विठोबा रखुमाई , still standing tall . KL Visit is incomplete without visiting Suria KLCC
